I have owned this exact skilled for about 4 years now and I'm regretting not buying the 12" skillet at the same time. I use the skillet for many things and it heats well, easy to clean and it's still working today! For years I went through a skillet a year with other brands and types. Either the handles would break, the interior would scratch and become ruined making it impossible to use. This skillet is so nice because it's entirely stainless steel with not plastic crap! the only plastic is the casing of the plug. Why Rival quit making them is beyond me. I would gladly buy more and buy them as gifts for others. Most of the other stainless steel skillets I've seen all have the plastic crap and the interior is not stainless but Teflon. Not interested in those trashy look-a-likes...bring back the RIVAL STAINLESS STEEL SKILLET!
For those fools who think this pan doesn't heat well they should probably revisit the pan. Stainless steel is NOT like Teflon or many other types of pans. You have to learn to cook slower and keep the pan hot. Once the pan is heated it stays heated and your food stays hot longer and evenly. This makes cooking wild game and just about anything else you would use these pans for a perfect fit....even Crepes!
