I purchased a Rival coffee maker, and to say the least it starts with puddles of water from the bottom, then the filter holder falls out and is hot, which I was almost burned a few times. Once I put the filter with the coffee in it back into place, I had to hold it for a few moments until it felt like it was locked in tight enough to let it go. Very poor item, I will never purchase anything with the Rival name. Purchased at Kmart, Concord, CA on sale.
