Customer Review: Don't Buy Store Ground No More

This machines performance is great. Why should you spend the big dollars today on ground beef. When you can cut up the roast of you're choice. take time to trim it up ,defat it to you're liking . A big pet peeve I have about store bought ground beef is bone fragments . This way if you trim it up yourself or buy a good boneless chuck which is the best ground beef going. Then you dont' run into that problem. This machine does really well at processessing the meat. It has a sausage stuffer with it . That part I have yet to use cause i can't find casings nearby. The grinder aspect of it is excellent. I was using a Euro-Pro food processor also for food grinding but I like the fact this has a coarse grind and a fine.I can't wait to give it the hash test after St.Patricks Day this year. I haven't had a good homemade corned beef hash since I was a kid. This outta make the best one. Electric is so much better then hand cranked too. I highly recommend this to dieters who wanna cut the fat. And Meat lovers all over.AS it says its good for other things too to grind .

Rival Electric Food GrinderOnce upon a time, meats, nuts, and other foods were ground up with a hand-cranked apparatus. In order to keep as ergonomic kitchen as possible, it's important to avoid repetitive tasks that place a high demand on the joints of your hand and wrist. This electric grinder takes on the bulk of the work burden; all there is to do is push the food gently down into the hopper.
The most obvious use for the grinder is for meats--sausage, ground beef or lamb, chopped liver, pâtés, etc. (The handy sausage stuffer attachment helps guide the ground meat into the casings.) But it's also great for nuts, vegetables, and fruits. The fine grinder plate, for example, is great for making baby food.
Clean-up is easy; the detachable hopper and other parts are dishwasher-safe, and the white plastic housing can be wiped down with a warm, soapy rag (it is not immersible). The grinder measures 14-1/2 by 7 by 9 inches (without attachments).
